Medium White Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
    Stir in flour and salt.
    Add milk all at once.
    Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.
    Remove sauce from heat when it begins to bubble.
    Add cheese and other ingredients at this time.
    Stir until smooth.
    Makes 2 cups.
