Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie crust (frozen)
    1 c. pecans
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix sugar, butter and syrup.
    Beat eggs and add to sugar mixture.
    Add pecans and stir well.
    Pour in frozen pie crust.
    Do not allow pie crust to thaw.
    Place in oven at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Then lower oven to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer.
