White Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. hot mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. lemon
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Add sugar, butter, salt and slightly beaten egg yolks to hot potatoes, then add milk and flavoring. Fold in the egg whites which have been stiffly beaten.
    The mixture should be fairly thin.
    Bake in a 9-inch pie shell.
    Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 45 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
