French Breakfast Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar and egg.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
    Stir in alternately with the milk. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Immediately roll in 6 tablespoons butter, then a mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
