Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. pretzel crumbs
    8 oz. cream cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Mix together oleo, 1/2 cup sugar and pretzels.
    Press into baking dish.
    Combine cream cheese, Cool Whip and other 1/2 cup sugar.
    Spread over crumbs.
    Mix cornstarch and pineapple juice; cook until thick.
    Cool slightly, then add pineapple.
    Spread over layer; refrigerate.
