Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. chopped hot pepper
    green food coloring
    6 oz. liquid fruit pectin
    paraffin
Preparation
    Place peppers and 1/2 cup vinegar in blender; puree.
    Strain if desired.
    Pour into large saucepan with sugar, a few drops of food coloring and remaining vinegar.
    Stirring constantly, bring to a rolling boil that cannot be stirred down.
    Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes.
    Skim off foam and add pectin.
    Pour into hot, sterilized jars.
    Seal with paraffin.
