Swedish Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium red cabbage
    2 to 3 apples
    small amount of water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut up cabbage and apples and cook 15 to 20 minutes in water until tender.
    Melt butter; add vinegar, sugar and seasonings. Heat 5 minutes.
    Pour water off cabbage and then pour the sauce on cabbage.
    Heat and serve.
