Rhubarb Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 to 2 c. raw rhubarb
2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream shortening and egg.
Add cinnamon and salt to flour. Sift. Add soda to milk.
Alternate liquid and dry.
Add fruit and mix.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
