Breadsticks For A Crowd - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. oil
    1 egg white, lightly beaten
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Blend well.
    In a small saucepan, heat water and oil until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
    Add warm liquid to the flour mixture and blend at low speed.
    By hand, stir in additional 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour, until dough pulls cleanly down and away from sides of bowl. Flour surface and knead 1/2 to 1 cup flour until dough is smooth and elastic.
    Place dough in greased bowl.
    Let double in size. Punch down.
    Divide in half.
    Shape into breadsticks.
    Brush with egg whites.
    Let rise.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 14 minutes.
