Chicken Dinner In A Pot - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole chicken breasts, skinned and split
    4 medium size potatoes
    2 large carrots
    1/2 lb. fresh green beans or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
    1 large onion
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    pepper
Preparation
    Place chicken breasts in a large, heavy ovenware pot.
    Peel potatoes and slice 1/2 inch thick.
    Place on top of chicken.
    Peel onion and quarter it.
    Peel carrots; quarter lengthwise and cut into 2-inch lengths.
    Cut ends off green beans or separate frozen green beans.
    Place all vegetables in pot.
    Sprinkle with parsley. Season with pepper.
    Pour sherry over all.
    Cover tightly.
    Cook at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours until vegetables are tender.
