Minute Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/8 tsp. each oregano, thyme, garlic salt and crumbled bay leaf (small)
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 c. Minute rice
    3 slices American cheese, cut in large strips
    3 sliced, stuffed olives (for garnish)
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion. Drain.
    Add tomatoes, seasonings and soup. Simmer about 5 minutes. Add rice.
    After mixture comes to a boil, simmer another few minutes.
    Place in lightly greased casserole dish.
    Place strips of cheese on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese melts.
    Garnish with olives.
