Empanadas Ricas De Calabaza - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. regular beer
    1 lb. lard
    flour as needed
    1 lb. can whole pumpkin
    cinnamon and sugar to taste
Preparation
    Pour beer into bowl.
    Add lard.
    Let stand at room temperature for about 3 hours.
    Work flour into beer mixture.
    After 3 hours, use enough flour until dough forms.
    Form 3-inch balls and roll out into 5 to 6-inch diameter circles.
    Fill with pumpkin or favorite fruit or meat filling.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until golden brown and dust in sugar and cinnamon mixture (1 cup sugar to 1 teaspoon cinnamon). Can be frozen for 1 month.
