Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    1 egg
    2 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
Preparation
    Put peppers in boiling water a few minutes.
    Mix all other ingredients together except tomato sauce.
    Stuff mixture into pepper.
    Place close together in deep dish.
    Add sauce, basil and 1/2 cup water.
    Pour over peppers.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
