Blue Ribbon Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bu. tomatoes
    3 lb. onions
    4 hot peppers
    2 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    5 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
Preparation
    Peel and mash tomatoes.
    Cook for 3 hours.
    Add onions, hot peppers, oil, basil, oregano, sugar and salt.
    Cook for 1 hour. Add tomato paste.
    Bring to a hard boil.
    Place in jars and process for 45 minutes in hot water bath or 15 minutes at 10 pounds pressure.
