Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced tart apples (about 2 lb.)
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
Preparation
    Lightly mix apples, sugars, flour, salt, nutmeg, lemon rind and lemon juice.
    Put in pie shell, laying apples flat.
    Dot with butter.
    Add top crust.
    Slit top crust to allow steam to escape. Moisten edges of crust well with cold water.
    With fingers or fork, pinch crusts together to make tight seal.
    Bake in preheated hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
