Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies - cooking recipe

1 pkg. (22.5 oz.) fudge brownie mix
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
Prepare brownies as directed on package except spread only 2/3 of the dough in pan. Beat cream cheese and butter in small mixer bowl on medium speed until fluffy.
Beat in sugar gradually.
Beat in remaining ingredients until smooth.
Spread over dough in pan.
Drop remaining dough by tablespoonfuls onto cream cheese mixture.
Swirl lightly with spatula for marbled effect.
Bake for 35 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.
