Summer Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    thin slices of bread
Preparation
    Bring fruit and sugar to a boil and simmer until barely tender.
    Line a deep pudding bowl with slices of white bread and fill with the fruit.
    Cover top with slices of bread.
    Place a saucer on top of pudding to fit the basil.
    Put a weight on the saucer to apply pressure.
    Refrigerate overnight.
