German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. cole slaw
    1 large onion, cut in strips
    1 bell pepper, cut in strips
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Wesson oil
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Layer slaw, onion and bell pepper in a large bowl. Mix sugar, oil, vinegar and salt in microwavable bowl. Microwave 3 to 4 minutes, almost to a boil, until sugar dissolves. Pour mixture over slaw. Refrigerate before serving and stir to marinate vegetables.
