Savory Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
 
1 c. uncooked regular or converted rice
2 1/2 c. water
1 envelope Lipton savory herb with garlic soup mix
1/2 c. frozen peas
Preparation
- 
                            In a 10-inch skillet, melt butter.
 
Cook rice over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil, then simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
Let stand, uncovered, for 5 minutes; fluff with a fork.
