Raised Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water
1/2 c. butter flavored oil
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
8 c. flour
2 c. buttermilk (room temperature)
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix water, buttermilk, yeast and sugar together.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Add oil and eggs.
Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add half flour and beat well, then add rest of flour.
Mix well with spoon.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Punch down.
Tip out on floured board and cut.
Let raise about 15 minutes.
Fry in hot grease at 375\u00b0.
Roll in sugar before serving.
