Ingredients

2 c. crushed strawberries
4 c. sugar
1 pkg. powdered pectin
3/4 c. water
Preparation

Crush berries and measure.
Stir sugar into berries, mixing thoroughly.
Add pectin with water in a saucepan and bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Stir into berries immediately and continue to stir for 3 minutes.
A few sugar crystals will remain.
Quickly put mixture into jars and cover with lids.
Let stand at room temperature until jam is set. Wait about 24 hours and put in freezer.
