Pan Am Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. oil
    4 pork chops
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 diced tomatoes
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. raw rice
Preparation
    Crush oregano, parsley, garlic and salt together.
    Add lemon juice and 1 tablespoon oil; mix well.
    Brush on both sides of pork chops; let stand 10 minutes.
    Brown chops in remaining oil in skillet, then remove chops.
    Add onion and tomatoes to skillet; cook until onion is soft.
    Add raw rice; stir until well coated with oil.
    Pour tomato sauce over all.
    Return chops to skillet. Cover; simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serves 3 to 4.
