Mama'S Sweet Pickle Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. medium size peaches
    3 pt. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
    1/2 pt. water
    1 Tbsp. each whole spices (allspice, cloves, cinnamon and ginger)
Preparation
    Put the spices: allspice, cloves, cinnamon and ginger in a thin white cloth bag and tie top tightly.
    Boil the sugar, vinegar, water and spices for 15 minutes.
    Add fruit; boil until tender.
    Put fruit in big jar; pour syrup over.
    Pour syrup off and boil 30 minutes for next two days, then put in jars.
