South Of The Border Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo
3 small bunches green onions (tops too)
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 lb. finely ground round steak
3 garlic buttons or garlic salt
1 large can yellow hominy, drained
1 large can chili (without beans)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
grated cheese (lots)
Fritos, crushed
Preparation

Saut onions and pepper in oleo. Add meat and cook until gray, not brown. Keep from lumping. Combine remaining ingredients except cheese and Fritos. Mix well with salt and pepper to taste. Put in large casserole and cover entirely with a very thick layer of grated cheese. Top with crushed Fritos. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes. Serves a lot.
