Pasta In Shrimp And Wine Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. dry white wine
    1 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon
    1 tsp. basil, crushed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. small shrimp, peeled
    1 c. chopped, seeded, peeled tomatoes
    10 oz. pasta, cooked
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons butter and olive oil in 2-quart saucepan until tender but not brown.
    Add wine, instant bouillon, basil, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer for 12 to 15 minutes or until reduced by 2/3.
    Add shrimp. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes or until done to taste.
    Stir in tomatoes.
    Add pasta and 1/4 cup melted butter; toss to mix well. Add cheese and parsley; toss to mix well.
    May substitute 1 cup scallops for shrimp.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
