Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. rhubarb, cut fine
Preparation
    Cream brown sugar and shortening.
    Add egg.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Stir in rhubarb.
    Top with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, mixed together.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
