Zesty Cocktail Wieners - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. skinless all-meat wieners or cocktail wieners
1/2 c. bourbon
1/4 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed, or liquid brown sugar
1/2 c. catsup
1 Tbsp. grated onion
1/8 tsp. ground oregano
1/2 tsp. powdered rosemary (optional)
Preparation

Cut wieners into 1-inch pieces.
Combine bourbon, catsup, brown sugar, onion, oregano and rosemary if desired, in saucepan. Bring to simmering boil and add wieners.
Simmer until tender. Refrigerate overnight in sauce if possible.
Serve in chafing dish in hot sauce.
Yield:
4 dozen pieces.
