Buttermilk Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation

In large saucepan, combine sugar, soda, buttermilk and salt. Cook over high heat 5 minutes, stirring frequently, scraping bottom of pan until candy reaches soft ball stage.
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Beat until thick and creamy.
Add pecans. Drop from tablespoon onto waxed paper.
