Easy Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. fruit
    1 c. sifted flour (whole wheat okay also)
    2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Set oven to 350\u00b0.
    Use a 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Place margarine or butter in baking dish to melt.
    Mix the sugar with fruit (set aside).
    Make batter of sifted flour, baking powder, pinch of salt, sugar and milk.
    Pour batter over melted margarine or butter (do not stir).
    Place fruit mix on top.
    Bake for 40 minutes.
