Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
5 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter, melted
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Sift together flour and sugar.
Cut shortening into flour mixture.
Add yeast and buttermilk.
Mix well.
Chill 1 hour.
