Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. round steak
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 onion, sliced
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
Preparation

Mix flour, pepper and salt together.
Cut meat into serving size pieces.
Pound flour mixture into meat with edge of saucer. Brown on both sides in hot oil.
Layer steak and onion in greased casserole or roasting pan. Spoon soup over top. Add water and cover.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or lower temperature for longer time. This is good made in a slow cooker all day, too.
