Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
dash of pepper
Preparation

Mix well and form into balls.
Brown in 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy skillet.
Remove meat balls from pan and add 2 tablespoons flour to skillet; blend well.
Add 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can consomme or beef broth.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
Return meat balls to gravy.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
