Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    3 c. unpeeled cut up apples, cored
    1 1/2 c. Spanish or cocktail peanuts
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    In saucepan, heat pineapple juice, flour, vinegar, sugar and egg until thickened.
    Mix in crushed pineapple and marshmallows. Place in covered container and refrigerate overnight.
    Next day, add apples, peanuts and Cool Whip.\t Chill until serving time.
