125 Year Old Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine or butter (I use butter)
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. rum flavoring
    1 c. chopped walnuts, floured
Preparation
    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk, beginning with and ending with flour.
    Add flavoring.
    Stir in floured walnuts.
    Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
