Candied Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium sweet potatoes
    1 stick butter
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Peel and dice or coin cut potatoes.
    Rinse.
    Cook in water until potatoes are done.
    Leave about 1/4 cup water in pan with potatoes.
    Cook over medium heat until juice of potatoes is candied in appearance.
