Mother Quinn'S Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, creamed
2 c. light brown sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. raisins
1/2 lb. currants
1/4 lb. citron
lemon peel
orange peel
nuts
3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
-
Mix all ingredients together.
Add 1/2 cup sweet cream.
Line pan with greased paper and bake in slow oven 4 hours.
