Church Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 c. boiling water
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cabbage, water, pepper, onion and salt; let stand 1 hour. Then drain and add vinegar, oil, sugar and celery seed.
    This will keep well.
