Turkey Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices firm white bread
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 onion, chopped
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. black pepper
    10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed
    2 lb. ground turkey
    2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    1/2 c. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a large baking pan.
    In a blender or food processor, whirl bread into fine crumbs and set aside.
    In a medium frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.
    Add onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and set aside.
    In a large bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, basil and pepper.
    Add bread crumbs, onion, spinach, turkey and lemon juice and mix well. Turn mixture out into baking pan and form it into a 9 x 5-inch loaf.
    Brush with ketchup and bake for 30 minutes.
    After loaf has baked for 30 minutes, baste with butter and continue to bake, basting occasionally, until well browned and cooked through, 30 to 35 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
