Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. popped popcorn
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Place popped popcorn in a large shallow roasting pan, popped kernels only.
    In a large heavy 1 1/2-quart saucepan, stir sugar, margarine and corn syrup together.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly over medium heat.
    Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and baking soda.
    Pour over popcorn, stirring to coat well.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Remove from oven, spoon popcorn onto a large piece of wax paper or aluminum foil. Break apart popcorn as it cools.
