Spiced Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    1 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening with pastry blender until a fine crumb mixture.
    Add egg and molasses, blend well.
    Add sour milk and beat until smooth.
    Pour into greased and floured square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes or until cake tests done.
    May be served plain or with icing.
