Light "N" Fruity Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello or other flavor
    2/3 c. boiling water
    2 c. ice cubes
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 graham cracker pie crust
    1 c. fresh fruit (sliced strawberries, peaches, bananas, raspberries or blueberries) or 1 can apricots, peaches, fruit cocktail or crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin completely in boiling water, stirring about 3 minutes.
    Add ice cubes and stir until gelatin is thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
    Remove any unmelted ice.
    Blend in Cool Whip; whip until smooth.
    Fold in fruit.
    Chill, if necessary, until mixture will mound.
    Spoon into crust.
    Chill 2 hours.
    Garnish if desired with fresh fruit.
