Baking Powder Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
4 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening with pastry blender or two knives until consistency of coarse meal.
Stir in milk to make smooth dough.
Turn onto floured board, pat or roll lightly to 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut in rounds.
Bake on ungreased sheet at 450 degrees for 10 to 16 minutes.
