Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. yellow squash
    1 1/2 c. water
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    1/2 c. grated carrot
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    pepper to taste
    2 c. herb seasoned stuffing
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook squash in salted water until tender, about 10 minutes; drain and mash.
    Add onions, carrots, soup and sour cream.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Butter 2-quart shallow baking casserole (9 x 12-inch).
    Sprinkle half the stuffing on bottom of casserole. Cover with squash mixture.
    Top with remaining stuffing.
    Dot with butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
