1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, flour and salt until blended.
Add milk and egg yolks.
With a wire whisk, beat until smooth.
Add margarine and cook over medium heat until thickens.
Add vanilla and stir well.
Pour mixture into a baked pie crust and top with meringue.
