Wild Rice, Mushrooms, And Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked wild rice
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. chives or green onions
    1-8 oz. can mushrooms, drained
    3 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Wash and drain wild rice.
    Melt butter in large pan.
    Add rice, almonds, chives, mushrooms; cook and stir until almonds are golden brown.
    Heat oven to 325 degrees.
    Pour mixture into ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
    Heat chicken broth to boiling; stir in rice mixture.
    Cover tightly.
    Bake about 1 1/2 hours or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender and fluffy.
