Oven Baked French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    3 egg yolks
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    16 (3/4 inch thick) slices French bread
Preparation
    Place 2 tablespoons butter in each of 2 (13 x 9-inch) pans. Heat at 425\u00b0 until hot.
    Combine egg yolks, sugar and salt.
    Beat at high speed with an electric mixer until thick and lemon colored. Add milk; fold in egg whites.
    Dip bread slices into egg mixture, place in hot pans.
    Bake for 10 minutes, turn and bake 5 minutes or until golden brown.
