Chocolate Chip Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. crushed Oreos
5 Tbsp. margarine, melted
3 eggs
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. whipping cream
1 c. miniature chocolate chips
1 tsp. shortening

Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Combine melted margarine and Oreos.
Press in bottom and 1-inch up sides of 10-inch spring-form pan.
In large bowl, beat eggs.
Add cream cheese, sugar and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Add whipping cream; blend well.
Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips.
Pour into prepared crust.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 to 75 minutes or until center is set.
(To minimize cracking, place shallow pan half full of hot water on lower oven rack during baking.)
Cool.
