Skillet Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped dates
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 1/2 c. rice crispies
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. Angel Flake coconut
Preparation
    Mix dates, sugar, oleo and egg in large iron skillet and place over low heat.
    Cook until dates are melted, stirring occasionally.
    Turn off heat and add rice crispies and pecans. Mix well and let cool.
    Roll into small balls and roll each ball in coconut.
    Makes 4 dozen.
