Country Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (1 lb.) cans cut green beans
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 Tbsp. butter
2/3 c. (1 small can) evaporated milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Drain liquid from beans, measuring 1 1/3 cups liquid and save. Saute onion in butter in medium sized frying pan, just until soft. Remove from heat.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Stir in measured liquid from beans and evaporated milk.
Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens and boil one minute.
Stir in green beans, heating slowly, stirring often, about ten minutes or until bubbly hot.
Serves 6 to 8.
