Bow Ties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. milk
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and Crisco.
    Mix like you would for a pie crust.
    Beat the egg, vanilla and milk together. Make a well with the flour.
    Put the eggs, vanilla and milk; mix well.
    Roll out the dough a little at a time and cut in strips. Make a slit in the middle and pull through like a bow tie.
    Deep fry in oil and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
